The VachithramalaPothu Prarthanalayam was formed in the year 1927. During the formative years, worship services were conducted in the MTLP School, Thekkemala. The present Prarthanalayam was built and dedicated on March 15, 1992 by the Late Most. Rev. Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan. Rev. V. T. Kurian was the first president.

Holy Qurbana Services are held on every first Sunday of the month at 7.30 am. The Prarthanalayam consists of 250 families with 1300 members who are divided in 7 prayer groups.
